Le Ton mIté ets le projet solo de McLoud Zicmuse, musicien originaire d'Olympia, USA, arrivé en France autour de l'année 2006 à la suite d'une tournée avec Chocolat Billy découlant de la sortie de ce disque.
Il emménage à Bordeaux quelques temps pour partir finalement habiter à Bruxelles. Il créera de nombreux projets musicaux dont le groupe Hoquets :
